Open Call: Resonanten
Open Call: Resonanten
DTM is seeking new Resonanten!
DTM wants to be accessible to all new creators in the first five years of their career. We do this through broad prospecting (we aim to view all performances to which we are invited) and by organising meetings. To this end, we are looking for reinforcement: new resonators who want to join us for two years to view, facilitate and organise!
Are you a new creator or cultural worker with a passion for watching and discussing performances and organising events? Would you like to learn more about programming, facilitating, dramaturgy or curating? Then this open call is for you!
What do we offer?
De Resonanten is a two-year development programme under the wing of DTM.
As a Resonant, you are responsible (together with the DTM team) for prospecting: you watch around 40 performances per year, with a peak during the graduation performances (April – June). Every month, there is a meeting to discuss all the new work: what trends are emerging, which makers are producing remarkable work, what shared needs do new makers have?
Just like the DTM programme makers, as a Resonant you will be guided by the DTM team in your own journey as a curating maker, and you will be invited to all collective learning moments with the DTM programme makers.
In the second year of the programme (2027), the Resonants will jointly organise a meeting (between new makers, programmers, audiences, etc.) that they can shape entirely themselves: this could be a work-in-progress festival, a camp, a dinner, etc.
You will be paid in accordance with the collective labour agreement for prospecting (often in the evenings), meetings and organising the meeting. In order to gain a more varied perspective, we are explicitly looking for people who are not women or white.
Does this sound like something for you? Send an email to matilda@detheatermaker.be before 8/12, stating what kind of work you are interested in, your CV and a short motivation for the position.
Interviews will take place in the week of 8/12.
